I had the pleasure to work with the incredibly talented Andrea Hanki of Pink Sugar Photography, as a second shooter. I came across her work long before I ever became a photographer. Something in her images sparked a fire in me and to this day, of all the photoraphy websites and blogs that I follow, her work...her art....sticks with me and connects with me like no other. I'm inspired by her images every day.
The images in this post are Andrea's vision, so all credit goes to her for selecting locations, directing the shoot and executing the images. My role was to document the guys getting ready while she was with the girls and to capture images from a different angle and perspective.
And what can I say about this couple other than that they are young, in love, have an incredible sense of style and a bright future ahead of them. It was one hell of a party...and I must say that I've never seen guests dance at a wedding as much as their guests did...the energy was incredible!
Be sure to check out Andrea's interpretation of this couple's special day here!
And I must mention the wedding planner and florist because I've never seen wedding decor done so beautifully.
I really wanted to share a full post today before I leave for Calgary to shoot another wedding but unfortunately I ran out of time so today you get to see part 1 of Megan and Malcom's day - the getting ready portion...enjoy:)
Kim and Steve got married this weekend and I was so happy to be part of it:) I was so sore the next day...little Kaiya sure gave me a good workout for my shots;-) More to come from this wedding...in them mean time, here is a quick peak at two beautiful ladies:)
I spent four beautiful days at Emerald Lake Lodge thanks to Mirna and Eric who were awesome enough to ask me to capture their wedding day. I'm just in the process of downloading the images onto my computer and had to share a few of the beautiful bride - she was smiles all day and these pictures I think completely eximplify why I chose the name "Joyful Emotion". Much more to share with you in the coming weeks...stay tuned!
My beautiful sister-in-law Keri and her handsome husband Blair were married in the Mayan Riviera. I was soo happy to be able to capture some images while attending their ocean-side wedding ceremony and loved going through these images because you can really see the love in these photographs.
